Josef is a capable leader providing a can-do attitude, outstanding work ethic whilst always maintaining an immaculate and drama free service with a good understanding of the chain of command, whether it be on land or at sea.
Josef has over 4 years’ experience in the yachting industry working with charter and private guests. Spending time with his grandfather in the family restaurant as a young boy in Buxton, Derbyshire in the UK, it was inevitable that he would go on to study cuisine and work in some of the UK’s best restaurants. He spent time working with celebrity chefs in Scotland and the lake district before moving into the private sector.
This chef draws on the experience gained from his 16-year career to provide guests with a broad range of international cuisines and food styles. His background is rooted in French classic cuisine, he also has experience in using more modern techniques to wow his guest, although his plates will always be inspired by locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
